Sir Roger Withdraws His Column

I happened to glance at The Gazunder as I was changing Bertie's litter tray today, and saw that Sir Roger Wind, the Conservative MP for Thanet (Arsonists), will no longer be writing his regular slot for the paper.

I don't normally follow political ins and outs, let alone notice what the local MPs get up to, apart from when my own representative, the Right Honourable Steve Ladyboy, Labour MP for Thanet (Millionaires), zips past in his Ferrari.

Anyway, the truth is, I then plonked myself down in one of my La-z-boys and read The Gazunder from cover to cover. It seems that, although Sir Roger is departing, Arts and Elbows, the weekly column about cultural life on the Ile, has returned. It's based around the blog of the same name written by Sultan of Bling Philip Page, and very good it is too, for someone from Margate.

Culture. Now that's much more my cup of Earl Grey.

Very much into culture myself. I have an interesting collection of petri dishes as well as a pint of milk which has been on my doorstep for over a year (which, hopefully, will get nicked one day), a half loaf of bread which has displayed some wonderful colours in its death throes and some pants which are simply to die for (were I to wear them).
Nearly forgot to mention the half cup of coffee which I've been nurturing for several months and am thinking of donating to Eastcliff Garage to complete their collection.
I think, were she to come round for tea, that our Tray would be most impressed!

When people ask me what I do to make a crust, I always respond with "I keep my undies on for a week"!

I'm glad to see we have such culture vultures round here. If you fancy coming round to take a quick squizz at my Kandinskies, you'd be more than welcome.

Culture! Ha! You're about as cultured as my Crinkley Bottom, Eastcliff.

Or how about:

You're about as cultured as some of the things I grow in my Crinkley Bottom, Eastclliff.

Is that OK, luvs, or is it a bit rude?

Not sure about rude, but almost certainly untrue.
Having said that, I think it may depend on the location of your cerebral cortex.
Cortex in gortex, if ya got it, flaunt it!
