The Last Post

How satisfying to see that Kent County Council's 'Scotty' and his team of French engineers have today finished removing all the 'doubled up' lamp posts from Victoria Esplanade.

A fine example of Anglo-French co-operation, and a timely reminder that it doesn't always have to end up like Dunkerque, Concorde or the Peugeot Ryton plant.

Vive la difference!

You did omit their rather odd immigration rules, which allow immigrants to enter their country on the condition that they have easy egress to the next country up from themselves.
It's really messing the figures up. I doubt that the government has been able to get anything accurately correct for years now!

Vive le same old, same old!
