Quad Squad

A change to the usual kind of vehicle you see in Augusta Road. No, it's not a couple of turbocharged grannies, it's the council's anti-weed patrol. Although given the recent debate on this blog about public urination in Augusta Road, an anti-wee patrol would probably be more appropriate.

I didn't think there were any weeds in Augusta Road - but perhaps they were just taking a short cut from the sea front?

Were they left behind from Margate's Quadathon on the Beach a few weeks back? Good recycling strategy if they were...

Well they appeared to be on a mission to blast anything green into the next world. I do hope Angela's hollyhocks survived!

And Zumi, I don't know if you're familiar with Augusta Road, but there's already an excellent recycling scheme there which involves leaving bin bags on the street (as the council refuse to provide wheelies) and letting the seagulls peck it all over the pavement!
