I Had Sachs, With Granddaughter,

round to tea once. I must say 'Manuel' really is the most professional and cordial fellow you're ever likely to meet in showbiz. So I find my allegiances divided on today's big issue. Given the fact that I'm beginning to suspect my drinks were spiked last night, and that Wossie's given me the arse-off on Facebook, perhaps I should be putting in a bid in for Friday Night With Richard Eastcliff after all!

Now, where's the cold flannel?

JR always seems so patronising towards his guests, "Oh I really love your book, film, series" etc. Never, "Its a pile of crap". He is critical when they aren't in his face with his film reviews. Ross is 48 and ought to be more mature and a bit more humble for his £6M p.a. Brand is just an idiot.

JR? Purile, egotistical..... gets up my nose. Distresses me to pay his wages....

Brand? Funny? Usually makes me reach for the remote.....

I hope both these characters never work again.

I'm sure that you have just the required talent to replace these tossers!

I certainly do, Justin. I can toss with the best of them!

Thanet has its own rude duet of Mowice and Woger who can mix it with the 'f*****g t*****s'; is the BBC aware of our own local experts in vulgarity and disgraceful behaviour?

How brilliant - why not get on to the BBC immediately and offer them our own, our very own Mowice and Woger as a replacement for the two Rossies. I couldn't stand either Ross or Brand so i'm glad they've gone.

according to todays Sun, russell brand shouted "I learned it from a book" and "que?" whilst rumping manuels granddaughter.

Now THATS funny.

You're spot on with your Ross comments.
He will never slag off anything by his buddies or those who grant him an interview...
Bit sad really when you're the nation's biggest broadcaster's highest profile CRITIC.A conflict of interests, I feel.
I don't hate him but he does just resort to potty humour so often and his interviews usually focus on his favourite subject, HIMSELF, rather than the high-profile guests he gets on.

Must say that I like Brand though.
His humour is usually well balanced and very clever.
The mass majority just see his shagging persona though, as reported by The Sun at al.
He overstepped the line here though and was right to resign.
Mind you, shouting FT lines during romping... that is rather funny!

Visit this link, and if you still think Brand is a goon I'll buy you a pint.
It's a rather charming doc he made about road-tripping across the US, in an On The Road style...

Coming from Barcelona, I am offended to discover that Manuel wasn't actually a real Spaniard. I find it offensive that the BBC employed a Brit to mock my countrymen at a time when there were many unemployed spanish actors who could have done the job.

I am considering suing John Cleese for allowing all this to happen

This is all so stupid. Yes it was a poor joke, but no worse than more of the tedious, childish jokes Jonathon comes out with week in week out. Brand was doing his normal Kenneth William-esque innuendo, when Ross, wanting to take part and look a bit cool, blew it by turning the innuendo into clanging idiocy.

Of course Brand has shagged Manuel's daughter. The average 30 something urbanite has had sexy with hundreds of people, so there was nothing shocking about it. Unless you are a Daily Mail reader with a dried up front bottom who dressed your tables legs up to cover their sensual shape.

What would be worrying would be if the BBC becomes even more stuffy and backwards just because a 2 origial complaints led to thousands only after it had been reported by the blue rinse neurotic tory tabloids.

The main issue for me is that some under talented idiot is being paid £6million a year from our taxes!
