Back By Unpopular Demand

Thanks to all the emails (two) that have been pouring in to Ofblog about my jottings being, er, utterly re-Branded over the past week, I'm back on the air! And the good news is it only took a yacht, 4x4, motorcycle and a new house to persuade the Politburo to grant me planning permission to put my sign back up!

I hope you are fully recovered from the liposuction ECR. Welcome back.

To get you back in the swing how about a visit to the Charity Commission website re charity number 11014765 (not quite the number on its website)

Then run your eye over today's press report of Kent Police progress in the Weed Factory burn case.

The charity (Jesus in Me International) did not submit accounts this last year as there is exemption for a charity with receipts under 10,000 pounds. (Unlike East Kent Maritime Trust who just did not submit accounts even though their grant from TDC was 100 grand per year)

So no doubt Kent's finest will explain how the rental income, from a five storey (weed factory) charity official address still published as such on CC website, is less than 200 pounds per week.

And how what remains their official charity post address did not entail an officer of the charity collecting mail and thus availing the opportunity to spot a rather strange whiff in a rather warm building ?

No doubt all will be satisfactorily explained in due course.

Whilst the police seek the letting agent for the charity HQ/rented weed farm I wonder if they would also seek the letting agent for the House in Valley Road where David O Leary was murdered seven months ago ?

Thank goodness - I was getting bored without my daily fix of ECR.

I know what you have been doing - undercover BBc work .....

Margate is at the centre of the new series of The Apprentice.

The eight contestants – desperate to be hired by Alan Sugar – were told to “re-brand Margate” and make it more attractive to businesses and tourists.

Over the past fortnight contestants were on the streets in blacked-out
people-carriers surrounded by cameras and film crew.

I'm afraid I've gone off the boil.

Glad you're back ECR - all that Politburo stuff was looking tired and out of date.

Tired and out of date maybe, but an accurate reflection of the state of affairs at Cecil Square.

According to the chief executive of Thanet Council only about six people read your blog anyway.

Not surprising as they've banned blogs in most of TDC.

Could you possibly say why TDCER? I seem to be on circuit of 'funny/joke' e-mails that seem to have many officers at TDC either sending them or receiving them, so why are Blogs banned? Subversive? Prevents the minions reading how the Leadership is held in dire regard?

Ah, my adoring public! 9:30am sounds like a particularly good egg!

Should we call it the fall of the Thanet wall? Wish it was we still seem to have the mafia rule and they seem so unassailable
