Has anyone else noticed the similarity between the photograph of Our Glorious Council Leader, Sandy Beach, which was published recently on the 'popular but beseiged™' Thanet Life weblog, and this publicity still I found of Davros, the evil creator of the Daleks from Doctor Who? Are they by any chance related?

Well there is a likeness and Thanet is being exterminated!
I see the photographer in this instance - fellow (to sandy) local tory councillor simon moores - has now restarted his blog, with not just occasional historical references but a full-blooded return to blue political comment.
Obviously all the concerns and worries signalled back in February have now melted away. Welcome back...
His latest 'occasional post' (now two a day) starts:
'I happened to be at Westminster during the Chancellor's pre-budget speech yesterday...'

It's still an 'occasional' posting on the weblog and it's not very political either. The fact that I just happened to be at Westminster yesterday might, I hope, offer a neat introduction and a little credibility to any comment on the pre-budget speech but take it anyway you like.

The similarity is frightening from that of Ezekiel and our Darlek friend, also the venom that comes from both characters is similar.
But don't loose heart our faithful Thanet bloggers, heard a good bit of news this week Ezekiel and his Bum Chum Latchford are not standing at the next election. Have they at last acquired some intellegence! and decided it will be less embarrassing than not to be voted back. has taken them a long time to realise the public now know how corrupt they are and would never put their names to any poll in the future.
It really is alarming the comparison with Ezekiel and Doctor Clue, something else which is worrying! the comparison with Ezekiel his Cronies and Musselini!
Musselini had no regard for his people, never listened to what they wanted and carried on year after year destroying thier livesand their country. What happend to Musselini? Oh! Yes,
