For Tosser Read Wanker

I see the full conclusions of the Standards Board's deliberations in the Famous Fannit F*cking Tosser debacle have now been published online. The big news is that our glorious leader seems to have called the former Mayor of Margate a 'f*cking wanker' and not a 'f*cking tosser' as previously reported. The Board deemed Sandy's behaviour to have been 'offensive and discourteous', and a remark by the Mayor to have been 'offensive and disrespectful'. Apart from that, it doesn't appear that anyone was really found guilty of anything! Hey-ho.

Click here to see Standards Board's case summaries of allegations re: Messrs Hart, Clark and Ezekiel. Sounds like a firm of shonky lawyers if you ask me.

Is he the one who is Chair of the Bench ?

Dyslexic ?

The magistrate thought he signed warrants re farm offences.

And off chortled the police having got another suspected firearms offence warrant signed by an old duffer ?

Thanet you could not write it as fiction. W-nkers is not offensive when it is accurate surely.

Magistrate: Hullo Super, how did the farm raids go last night. Grab any freebie cauliflowers ?

Supt: Didn't find anything as a matter of fact but scared the sh-t out of a person who tried to complain against Police in the area. You know the sort, opposed to the principles of law and order because they won't do as I tell em"

Magistrate: Got a tricky document in the post I will send it over see if you can explain it to me.

Supt (considering documents which starts off
I am a loyal subject of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, and wish to remain so. I am aware of her solemn Coronation Oath to the nation in 1953, to govern the British people 'according to their laws and customs'.

As a loyal British subject, it is my duty to bring to your attention any actions or planned actions which may amount to treason by any individual or group of individuals, or which may occur in the future if not prevented, so that the appropriate action can be taken.

It is AN OFFENCE at Common Law ("Misprision of Treason" - see Halsbury's Statutes, 4th Edition, Vol. 11, p. 818) for any person who knows that treason is being planned or committed, not to report the same as soon as he can to a Justice of the Peace.

It is an offence under Section 1, Treason Act 1795 'within the realm or without...to devise constraint of the person of our sovereign, his heirs or successors'. It is also treason to take any action which would 'overthrow (or tend to overthrow) the laws, government and happy constitution' of the United Kingdom.

Supt furrows brow and phones magistrate

Supt: F-cked if I know what it means I failed all my exams at school so had to become a police cadet as I told a recent school speech day"

Thanet .. the sort of area a man could get away with multiple arson you might think.

Ken, if you read the report summaries and seperate out the '3 complaints in one' delivered by Cllr Ezekiel in July to the Standards Board you start to get a clearer picture but the whole 'counter complaints' campaign launched following that lodged by Cllr Watkins wants to hide the clearer picture, doesn't it?

Cllr Ezekiel's complaint about Cllr Clark's conduct that night at The Winter Gardens was dismissed almost out of hand by the Board and did not breach the Code of Conduct and nor did Cllr Hart's conduct that night which was the subject of another dubious complaint to the Standards Board. The Standard Board's comments on these 'two' complaints against Cllr Clark and Cllr Hart make interesting reading.

In fact the Standards Board comments make it clear that the only complaint about behaviour that breached the Code of Conduct that night was the behaviour of Cllr Ezekiel as complained to the Standards Board by Cllr Watkins in May 2007.

A clever smoke-screen to draw attention away from Cllr Ezekiel's behaviour at The Winter Gardens on the night of 14th April has been the inclusion of 'the Holocaust' and 'Christmas' complaints (reported as heard by Mrs Ezekiel many months before The Winter Gardens episode)within the complaint 'package' on July 2007 against Cllr Clark. One complaint about 'The Holocaust Day' was upheld whilst the other was discounted.

The problem with this whole issue has been the deliberate way, the issue of The Winter Gardens has been 'spun' with two complaints that could have been made earlier against Cllr Clark and were not raked up until after a complaint was first initiated by Cllr Watkins against Cllr Ezekiel in May 2007.

The IOTG in its report on Friday, failed to make the distinction about the '3 complaints in one' made by Cllr Ezekiel as have many other Thanet observers, including ECR.

You might like to visit Thanetstrife for a more detailed perspective.

I am fed up,as a Conservative Party Member, to see how Conservative Cllrs have behaved in this matter to rally round 'The Leader'and in some cases questionably so and in the process effectively damage the reputation of two Labour Cllrs purely to 'save the bacon' of Cllr Ezekiel whose behaviour that night was unnacceptable in most polite company. A fulsome and public apology from Cllr Ezekiel concerning his conduct that evening would have been a more appropriate stance for The Leader of TDC to have taken and his standing amongst Tory 'rank & file' could then have been repaired to some degree.

Yes, Bertie's right of course, the complaints launched by Sandy do seem to have been a 'counter-attack' to provide some kind of smoke screen for the complaints about his own behaviour that night, especially as they seem to have been fudged together with previous concerns he claims to have had had about racist remarks, which he does not appear to have acted upon at the time.

To be fair to Sandy though (not that I'm a supporter or even a Tory) the Board does say that it found Sandy's behaviour to have been 'offensive and discourteous' that night 'based to a significant extent' on his own evidence. So he seems to have at least fessed up, although some people might argue he had no choice given the number of witnesses.

AN OPEN LETTER TO THE CONSERVATIVE TDC LEADER

Cllr. Ezekiel

A year of high-level investigations is now over and I write to demand an apology for your aggressive and abusive behaviour at the Mayor’s Retiring Ball.

By your own evidence, you accept that you shouted vulgar abuse at me in a failed attempt to goad me into becoming involved in a fight. That was absolutely appalling behaviour, especially coming from a District Leader at a civic event.

Instead of phoning me the next day to apologise, you then deviously set about ‘slinging mud’ in each and every direction in order to cover your own shortcomings. The most serious aspect of these actions was to make spurious and malicious allegations to the Police against me, which were extensively investigated and thrown out by the Crown Prosecution Service, the Police and finally, the Standards Board for England.

You knew only too well, that due to your senior position, your bogus allegations would have to be thoroughly and exhaustively investigated by senior officers whose valuable time would be wasted.

If you still refuse to apologise to me, you certainly should, at the very least, apologise to the female staff and guests at the Winter Gardens who were forced to witness your outburst of aggressive behaviour and loud yobbish ‘gutter’ language.

As the District Leader you should also apologise profusely to all the decent residents of Thanet, especially ratepayers and taxpayers, for wasting a whole year of time, energy and resources of our local Police and other agencies with your spurious and malicious allegations.

Cllr. Clive Hart

(TDC & KCC)

AND FROM DISTRICT COUNCILLOR JOHN WATKINS

At the Mayor’s retiring ball last April, Councillor Doug Clark who had just completed a busy year of engagements representing Margate, was the victim of an unwarranted, brutish and disgusting verbal assault from a man who at the time would not have been in a fit state to tie his own shoelaces. Councillor Ezekiel, having been restrained by a number of concerned and horrified people, including his own wife and the deputy mayor, then turned his attention to another TDC member, in an attempt to goad him into a fight. This disgraceful conduct was subsequently reported to the Standards Board for England. On learning of this fact Ezekiel then made a complaint to Kent Police, concocting allegations that were clearly intended to mitigate his own culpability. These were fully investigated and found to have no foundation. The second part of the attempted damage limitation exercise, concerned spurious claims of months of racial harassment, based on a shorthand entry in the Mayor’s diary and a query regarding the Council Leader’s religion prior to a Civic service.

The claim that Cllr. Doug Clark, a senior East Kent Magistrates Court Chairman and a JP of 27 years standing is in any way racist is ludicrous. Aside from the fact that his former wife is herself of the Jewish faith, Councillor Clark has for many years provided accommodation in his house for hundreds of students from every corner of the globe. This pillar of the community, who spent last Christmas day in Cliftonville, cooking dinner for the homeless, has now had his good name besmirched on the front page of a newspaper by a man, who is so out of touch with contemporary morality that he can conduct himself at a public function, exactly like the foul mouthed yobs he has complained of at public meetings. Anti social behaviour coupled with hypocrisy was then followed by false allegations to the police, wasting hours of their time. To say that I am disgusted, would be putting it mildly. Thanet needs and deserves much better leadership, Ezekiel should resign forthwith.

Cllr. John Watkins
