Fannit Souvenirs On Facebook

Holy holidaymakers! I see someone with a well-developed sense of humour has added a 'Souvenirs of Thanet' application on Facebook!

Now you can send your friends and family such mementos of our lovely island as 'An afternoon at Queen's House', 'A week's Income Support' or 'Chas and Dave's Greatest Hits'. Just the ticket for Aunt Matilda in Chesham! Here's a shufti at what I've sent so far:

And my personal favourite:

Oh these are priceless, love it.
Nice to see a fun sense of humour in these bleak days.
I had a good hearty laugh or two.

Haha, I love it!

Can you post the link here?

You have to be on Facebook, Peter. Why not sign up and become one of my happy band of friends?

I'm already on there AND I've been on your friends list for months...

But here's my FaceBook url if anyone else needs it (I can't guarantee I'll accept your friends request though):

But will Les Ray adopt the spa weekend image as a marketing strategy for his company "Thanet Waste" ?

Are you sure you want to be poked by Peter? .

I'm afraid I already have been, several times. Sorry Peter, my glass eye wasn't at its usual 20/20 when I scanned my Facebook friends.

All you have to do is sign in to Faceache and pop 'Souvenirs of Thanet' into the search box in the top right hand corner.

What's wrong with Chas & Dave Dick?

The man in the bath was not taken in Thanet - or if so location would be appreciated!

Don't you recognise Ramsgate when you see it, ye of little faith.

Nought wrong with Chas 'n' Dave, Brenda. I catch them regularly at the 100 Club in the smoke. Fine musicians and a fine sound they make too.

As you can see from the sidebar, I've even linked to an item about how they were sampled by M 'n' M!

My renaming of RAF London Kent Ramsgate Manston International Airport to Chas 'n' Dave International, a la Liverpool John Lennon, is a serious tribute, doncha know!
