EDF Off

Those garlic munchers at Électricité de France (EDF) did their best to ruin my soufflé earlier. Yet again their hamster fell off its wheel for a good 30 minutes or so.

My spies tell me the power cut was islandwide. Well, I say that, but I only happen to know that the lights also went out in Cliftonville. So they can hardly have noticed, one presumes.

roWhen I phoned EDF the recorded message said St Peters, Minster, Monkton, Richgborough, Broadstairs, Margate and Ramsgate. Fairly comprehensive coverage (or lack of it). Maybe a whole row of hamsters went on strike together?

OOps sorry! That should have read 10 to 1!

Seems that Birchington was the only place on The Planet that was still electrified (nothing new, there).
I've heard rumour that we have a seperate and more stable supply, due to the disproportionaly large amount of life support machines in use, here!

Maybe someone should invent a mchine which can convert cauliflowers into electricity?

Breed a strain of hamster that eats cauliflower?
I'm sure that's do-able.
