Press Trip

Let's hope the three wise journos who are expected to visit our shores tomorrow are better researched than the Sunday Times. Murdoch's organ featured yet another glowing eulogy to the wonders of the East Kent property market at the weekend, stating:

Ramsgate has been spoken of as a new Brighton, while Margate – which locals say has Kent’s best beach – could get a boost from the opening, later this year, of the Turner Centre.

Or maybe they know something we don't, and Plan C involves a marquee in the Rendezvous car park?

Full Sunday Times report.

They obviously haven't visited Thanet yet!

Yes the £16.8 million Tuner Contempt museum will be open in October to four billion visitors and will offer Donkey rides to people under 14 for £12 a throw. This is what was said at the meeting on Monday. This is what I have reported for Friday. I did no research and have no idea what I'm talking about. I have contacted the Times with these crucial details. Sorry, I'm being obloquious. Is this happening in Thanet then?

Now Ive looked up what obloquious means i'd say the answer to that is a resounding YES.

By the way what has happened to Justin this week?

Eastcliff, old boy. I have just mailed you a small missive. Would you be so kind as to pass it on to these 'journos' if you feel the content has any bearing on the newsgathering trip they are on down here, cheers. MH
