Data Bank

Lots of emails to deal with this morning. I must say, I find it surprising that both my HSBC and Halifax bank accounts, and my Bradford and Bingley building society account have all been suspended due to software upgrades, but I duly sign in again to keep them happy. You know what the banks are like if they don't have all your current details, and besides, I wouldn't want my millions to be accessible to any old Tom, Dick or Harry!

I had an email from that nice Barrister General Imo Imo Imobile who wrote to me from South Africa telling me my long lost uncle had died in a plane crash after depositng $20m dollars with him. When I got to Johannesburg, they took my passport and chained me to this radiator. I've only just managed to loosen my arm from its socket enough to stretch over to the computer, will somebody please get help...

Had you been taken hostage in America (as many are!) you probably would've been afforded the luxury of a wireless keyboard.
It's a shame that unnecessary injury has to result through lack of resources.
Now that you're at the keyboard, though, I could send you the web address for Microsoft's help desk. It'd be nice to see someone getting help from it.
If you survived, you could really help to restore their reputation.
Can't see modern computing lasting long without them!!!
