Gerry Has Eyes On Ladyman's Seat

Cripes! I see Ramsgate Firster Gerry O'Donnell has declared himself in the running as MP for Thanet South at the next general election! In an exclusive interview with yourfannit, Gerry says: 'It's important to raise the level of political debate here and get people talking about the issues which affect us.' Mr O'Ramsgate will be up against incumbent Labour MP Dr Ladyboy, and Tory babe Laura Sandys.

Quite why Gerry chose to break the news exclusively to yourfannit and not the more established Isle of Thanet Gazunder could be explained by an email I received from him recently in which he opined that the Gazunder's editor, the lovely Rebecca Smith, is 'anti-Ramsgate' and 'not up to the job'!

My Grandma always said she voted for the 'Best Looking' candidate. On those criteria shall I vote. Looks like the lovely Laura will win by a landslide

But her head is shaped like a big heart...

I doubt ladyman has a cat in hells chance of getting himself back to Westminster at the next election, and I never thought I would say this but it will be almost as satisfying as the moment Portillo lost in 1997.

Ladyman and the rest of New Labour have betrayed working people time and time again, the only thing that will ruin the next general electing is the though as well as getting their P45 they will also have arranged fat pensions at our expense. B ds!

I didnt realise the secret behind the words 'Fag Packet'. I think I will go with anon 1134 and vote for someone who is not a fag packet

I'll just had a few sherries and I'm seeing double. What party does that paper say that nice hot dog man is running for? Is it UKIP?

If it is then it is obvious why Gerry is annoyed with the Gazette -they never talk about UKIP or give any coverage to proper tories like Roger Gale.

I'm sure that that Laura will do us proud though. I met her once opening a jumble sale. She's such a sweet girl.

Gerry is definitely not or never has been a member of UKIP. As the article explains - he is standing as People First (not Ramsgate First) in the general election. May I suggest you take a bit more water with it next time?

Sorry, Sindy. Roger Gale gets tons of coverage in the Gazette even for quite trivial things so your argument doesn't stand at all. The TDC Tories get plenty of coverage as well, usually non-critical and that's why the paper can be considered just a tad biased politically.

The Gazette? Biased? Shurely shome mishtake!

Historical point of interest here when Laura’s ancestor was our MP he coined the phrase Bloody Mary and was locked in Tower of London by the king, I am sure the lady is too polite to coin the phrase Bloody Gerry.

Fair play to Gerry.
A lot of people talk a good fight around these parts but at least he has the balls to try and do something about it...

I didnt know that Gerry was into football, I know know what anon at 1.34 was talking about

I don't know why he is standing. It highly unlikely he will get more than a few votes.

I guess some people just like to be taking part. Bless him and his tinned sausages.

Who is that other crazy character from Ramsgate First who went off with UKIP? Will he be battling for fourth place against his old mate Gerry?

I'll vote for him.
Good bloke IMO.
