News Snooze

Once again the Gazunder has followed up two of my stories. Drugs raids (from two weeks ago) is today's front page lead, and caulis (from a week ago, and which the BBC followed up on Monday) lead page two.

Perhaps I should be charging a licence fee and taking advertising!

Have just been in Bulgaria for a week so haven't caught up with the TG yet. Bulgaria is a great country. If a magpie or a dog is making too much noise they just shoot it!

Whoah! That would give the barkers around here something to think about!

Just magpies and dogs, Hot Chocolate lady, or do they shoot anything that disturbs their peace? Would they shoot someone that keeps letting off guns, for instance?

Hot Chocolate lady? Named after suffragette, surely?

As far as i could see they would not hesitate to shoot at anything they don't like - their driving technique leaves a lot to be desired too.I don't think i saw one car in Bulgaria that actually had both brake lights working! The whole trip was certainly an eyeopener. Went to visit a friend from Newington who has moved out there. Scenery beautiful and they're catching up fast - menus in English etc.

Newington to Bulgaria, eh?
Frying pans and fires spring to mind!
While you were there, Emmeline, did anyone ask you "Where ya from, you sexy thing?"?

Not in any language i could understand anyway! The scenery in the centre of the country was breathtaking - mountain gorges and forest - they even have the odd Roman ruin - to make us feel at home! The area was once part of the Roman kingdom of Thracia. If I knew how to insert pictures on here I would!
