Breaking News - Mayor Of Margate Admits Kitten Charges

My spies in Sittingbourne at today's trial of Margate's Tory Mayor Ted Watt-Ruffell for causing a kitten unnecessary suffering tell me he's admitted two charges and is awaiting sentencing. More soon.

Update: According to the excellent yourfannitinnit he's been given 80 hours community service, banned from keeping animals for 18 months and ordered to pay £2,000 costs.

Just sums up the thanet conservatives, with a few exceptions nasty horrible cruel people! Imagine how they treat one another, not to mention those they serve! if that is how they treat animals!

I can think of some nasty horrible cruel thanet labour too added to that sly.

No one on that scale Mr Nasty

Love it, brightened my afternoon !

Is he on the way to St Ives?

Can his mayoral duties be counted as "community service"?

I was there so I know what happened said...

No, it's community payback and mustn't involve animals in any way.

Community order stands for 12 months so he'll be busy in his spare time. Defence solicitor said he, Cllr. Watt-Ruffell, wouldn't accept the community order as it would interfere with his mayoral duties but the magistrates weren't having any of that. They were well and truly fed-up with the waffle from the defence solicitor.

Good for the magistrate, if Watt-Ruffell had any integrity(we know he doesnt! that's why he's an Ezekiel crony?) he would resign from the mayoral position, have you told tv ECR very disappointed no press coverage on either local tv channel, only some useless kcc councillor trying to say 2007 was such a boom year it justified kent tv! Makes me sick to think they call themselves tories!

It's a shame the local TV aren't covering it. Why on earth not? It's a great story!

I happen to know a national satirical magazine will be running it next week though.

ECR...I shall privately keep an eye out for that.

Seems that blaming blogs is the latest sport, whether you're a non-existent ferry company or a guilty Kitten Killer.

I trust he will now do the decent thing and resign from any public office he holds. Or failing that the Conservative whip is withdrawn.

He's got to resign hasn't he ? No wonder TDC are the laughing stock of Kent.

Glad the local tories getting another slot in Private eye, seems to take a lot of entries for the National Tories to take some hints and start paying attention to how low the brand of Conservatives has sunk in Thanet, maybe they might put pressure on him to resign? I am ashamed to think that i am traditionally a Conservative when i see the antics this bunch get up to!
An opposition reject should have always remained such? As for not having to have CRB checks for councillors, you have to have them for every other walk of life.

Working with the Mayor on a number of community issues I can honestly say that he is a really good, down to earth chap. Shame about this though, it doesn't tell of the time and effort he has put into office, or how humble he is. Not that I am defending him, I am merely saying be careful what you wish for. I happen to know who is the next clear favourite for Margate Mayor, and believe me the odd sacrifice of a kitten to stop it happening is nothing compared to what could happen with 'him' in power. I tremble at the thought...another Tory of course!

"Power"? Mayors in Thanet don't have any power!

When the political class in Thanet are so poor it is hardly any wonder that no businesss want to locate here. Surely it's time for the voters to kick these useless t*ss*rs out and bring in a fresh bunch of t*ss*rs instead?

Change is gonna' come.

I'd say his days as a politician are over.

9.31 i thought they could only choose from a no of Margate charter trustees and they were those with a Margate seat - Tomlinsons, already had a go at the mayor's posts and Jarvis who was passed over for the job in favour of Watt Ruffell, who else can be more of a liability, Jarvis is a hard working, honest councillor - working hard for his constituents, one of a minority in the tories ! Cant think of any more tories, rest are all labour councillors i believe? enlighten me please?

Now we just need to get rid of the rest of them.

The Intelligence led database of Kent Police has been updated.

Matter 1 Question "Was security guard seen fleeing scene re Scenic Railway fire ?"

Matter 2 Information "Eliminate suspect A conviction verifies the known MO never fleed anything in his life"

Hmm, I have a feeling that we won't see a quick resignation. This man is quite prepared to appeal whilst in office. If he were halfway decent he would resign and fight his corner. If he won on appeal and it was proven that he just hugged the kitten to hard he might get a sympathy vote. As it is lets hope he continues with his appeal loses and becomes unemployable. Oh unless he gets work with the opposition but hasnt this incredibly focused moral man done this before. Oh god I think I just have no time for the lot of them its a big brush and they have managed to tar themselves from top to tail.

what a stupid bloody cunt. I hope he dies a painful, scared and lonely death with nobody caring about him and goes to hell.

I thought it was an ex fireman who was seen fleeing the Scenic fire.

Anonymous said...

Naahhh, they all fleeced the scene, including the rats and cats.

He won't stand down yet as it does not suit the Ezekiel junta.

Sandy intends to stand down in April to become Mayor in May. He can only be voted in if the Tories still have their majority and for that they still need the puppet Ruffell to be a Councillor.

If Ruffell goes, then Sandy might miss out on another litle earner as Mayor, and we might get someone decent. And that can't be allowed to happen can it!
