Yes.. they were following the harbour wall .. along the port wall to the beach then back to the beginning again .. at least 3 times!

Crikey! For once I find myself agreeing with Jeremy Crackers! Well, almost. I think sitting in the brilliant sun at one of the bars in front of Ramsgate harbour, people watching, sipping a cool snifter, with TMS in your lugholes courtesy of the iPhone is marginally better!

I think they were there to blow away any nasty messages that may have been left in the sand. You dont want any copycats.
Heard it was to do with illegals jumping off back of a lorry and they were searching for them.
Well there were lots of police at the port exit ....
And OMG ... I went down to sip a snifter at around 4.30...after hanging out the washing

If it was illegals trying to come in they should have waited until next week when the Euroferries service is due to start. Have they put in extra immigration control building/ staff in place yet?
