Chinese Choppers

While BigBollocks Tony continues his sad, interminable hissy-fit, I've been getting on with the real news. News that he's too mopey to notice despite it happening his own doorstep! Bignews? Kuh. More like Big Old Woman!

Pictured are today's Chinese delegation being whisked away from our shores from Oval Lawns in Cliftonville quicker than you can say 'Free Tibet'. Actually, there don't appear to be any protesters, but the lawn's been nicely mowed and the hedges trimmed in their honour. Not something us locals are treated to very often!

Why didn't you protest if you feel so strongly about it?

Because I am a quadraplegic and the lawns are a bit lumpy for the chair.

Richard Eastcliff said...

Do keep up Don! I presume they were here because Ken Wills and CGP want to build China Gateway out at Manston, and Thanet Council want to erect signs saying 'Welcome to Thanet - Home of Chinese Globalisation'. Remember? Tesco bag? Last year? Free jollies to China for Ezekiel and Latchford and the two senior council officers?

Or who knows, they might be attempting to buy up our arable land as part of their strategy to dominate the global food supply. Or fiddling with our internet so we can't access any nonsense about Tibet. Or all of the above.

Anyhow, must go now as this tube is beginning to make my gums bleed.

quadraplegic ?
YOU ARE A SICKO!

The white Agusta A109 is owned by Ken Wills...the other is owned by Helicharter...the company he owns.

ECR is only a sad nobody, who thinks that his very limited childish remarks are funny, when in fact it makes him appear like a boy from a special school!

Lucy Mail said...

I'd imagine he isn't well at all 5:07, if he's a quadraplegic in a wheel chair.
No need to rub his face in it!

Anonymous said...

You will have ti rub his face in it,silly he's quadraplegic

still it make him armless and of course legless

And yet, here you are 5:14, hanging onto every word like a very special schoolboy.

Anonymous said...

And nice to see you've finally learned how to spell 'school', 5:14

I don't understand why people continue to read blogs they don't like and then feel the need to comment about how stupid it or the author is... If you don't like it then don't read it and if you don't have anything nice to say then don't say anything at all, simple.

Nice to see that my daughter listens to me SOMETIMES !! :o)

So Clive Hart provides photos for ECR or perhaps Clive is ECR ? is the leader of the opposition so desperate that he has to use ECR to
fly his political kite??? !!!!

Anonymous said...

How did they get permission to fly two helicopters out of such a built up area or do Ken Wills and the Chinese just own us now?

Anonymous said...

When in doubt, wheel out the Thanet Right and suggest that Clive Hart is behind everything that you do not like or understand. The Daily Mail must have transplanted the bible as your "guide to life".

Both are crap.

Nice to know that this country supports another country which sells arms that are killing our lads?

This says a lot about some of our local authorities ethics?

Anonymous said...

Our own country, as well as several of our neighbours, also do that, 10:19am.
It's a bit racist to single out the little yella fellas, isn't it?

Anonymous said...

Looking forward to building work starting soon, then onto Phase 2 & 3.

I don't think it's racist to point out that Thanet Council are dealing direct with, and have received free trips from, a regime that has oppressed Tibet for 50 years, executes more of its citizens every year than any other nation, blocks all form of internet dissent, and wants to install software on every PC in the country that would allow it to control what people are looking at and writing.

If you want a graphic illustration of how China deals with political dissidents, feel free to go and have a look at this rather distressing photo of young campaigners being put up against a wall and summarily shot in the back of the head by the People's Armed Police.

Lucy Mail said...

Bearing in mind that China is home to a quarter of the World's population, you'd suppose they would execute more of their citizens than any other nation.
Not too hard to imagine that, for the same reason, they'd have to be a fair bit stricter in the way they control such a large amount of people.
If you seriously expect them to change, you're going to have to go and bash it into them!

Er, best of British luck!

If only I'd read ECR the day before the market in the Old Town. We'd had the road closure in force for months for the market, only to turn up on market day yesterday that we couldn't put our stalls out there. Now did anyone at TDC bother to tell anyone organising the market that their road closure and even had been superseded by visiting chinese? Nope.

Anonymous said...

Lucy - are you seriously suggesting that holding a young woman dissident down in a ditch and shooting her in the back of the head with a rifle is 'strict'?

Lucy Mail said...

Over strict by our standards, not theirs.
I'll offer you my previous solution, unless you can come up with something better, and wish you the best of British, too!

Anonymous said...

Yes indeed 11:32 but then again wills and co, can afford the money to buy imported goods and produce that this country will not be able to produce,as the best arable land has been developed on. Trust me by Christmas a lot of people will be bitching about costs of goods and services.

What will be interesting is how they connive with TDC to get SEEDA and this dishonest government to grant permission for phases 2,3.

As for 10:46, ridiculous - they are not yellow at all.

Now lets go back to the dodgy armaments shipments that are killing NATO soldiers? I mean to say how does the UN and UNIDO stand on that aspect!!

Anonymous said...

How about using organs from executed prisoners. No room for corruption there?
I see TDC moved the Market on Saturday at the last minute (on the morning) from the Market Square to the side roads in order to accomodate a tour for the Visiting Chinese. Nice. So much for having the towns interests at heart.

Anonymous said...

I expect the UN and UNIDO will sit around a 'friendly fire' and toast a few friendly marsh-mellows over it, 8:45 AM!

Anonymous said...

I meant to say, SIT!

Did anyone else notice the visitors were given a paperweight containing a view of Margate, as predicted in last year's Tesco bag?

And 'Cllr Latchford said: “This is a VIP visit and she will be given a Power Point presentation showing why Thanet is a great place to live and work.”' Ooh. A Powerpoint presentation. Lucky bastards. But again predicted by the Tesco bag.

How long before the Tesco bag prediction of signs at the borders saying 'Welcome to Thanet - Home of Chinese Globalisation' comes true?

Forget Confucious - Tesco bags get it right every time.

Anonymous said...

Was there not a memorandum of understanding also in the Tesco bag which was signed by Sandy Ezekiel and granted the Chinese 'mineral earth mining rights' whatever that is? Does anyone know any more about that?

Anonymous said...

On second thoughts do not tell me as you might end up being held down in a ditch and shot in the back of the head.

Anonymous said...

Mandlebrat was also present apparently. No wonder we plebs had to be shifted from the Market Square.

They would not put up with any of this dissent in Azerbaijan:

How funny - 3 years on and due to continued resistance China gateway still hasn't happened....maybe if we all knew back then that Pfizer would leave, Manston airport would go nowhere then we may have all supported it. It amazes me that people think China Gateway means bring chinese workers here... NO, it means bring UK manufacturing back to the UK from China with local people doing the work....get informed people and help make Thanet a great place to live and work!!!
