East Of The Wantsum

As well as pollution news (see below), here's another thing you won't find in this week's Gazunder. My weekly photo strip, East of the Wantsum (click on the image to enlarge).

I'm assured by Rebecca, the lovely editor, that it's a mere oversight and that she forgot to put it in. Of course, the conspiratorial amongst you will assume that she's been nobbled by the duffers in Cecil Square. Any old how, we'll soon find out next Friday!

So, Rebecca is admitting that she is incompetent?

Rather harsh 4:28. How I love the hypocracy of some people, never forgotten something yourself have you....does that make you incompetent?

I see that Thanet Life( Dr non medical) Moores has decided to start a Thanet Conservative facebook site!

If you have friends and use the site, then there are already 11 Thanet Conservative sites already on facebook!

So this is not a new idea, but a new Tory site run by the new up and coming ( I'm a Dr!) and so I have control!

Amazing what a differance a Chairmanship of a committee causes!!

How comes you're cosying up to flame-haired Rebecca Smith and the Tory Gazette team all of a sudden, ECR?!

Ahh...flames and the gazzete mentioned, run to the hills.

The Gazette won't publish anything that's critical of the airport.

Cosying up, 12:43? The truth is I was approached to inject a breath of critical fresh air into the paper. I'm not even accepting the Gazunder shilling for this as, quote, 'there's no budget for contributors'.

You may have noticed that I've also been 'cosying up' to yourfannitinnit by contributing to their Thanet blogger column. They don't appear to have a contributors' budget either. And I'd be happy to do something for the KM if anyone actually asked me. So you see, I'll 'cosy up' to anyone! My only non-negotiable demand is a credit for this blog.

The only Thanet-related work I get paid for is Private Eye, and you can judge by the fact that Ian has a mansion in West Kent and I have a mansion in Ramsgate who's getting the best deal there!

We'll see just how far the Gazunder let me go, shall we?

Hugely entertained that you never mention the mess that will be the legacuy of the Labour government ECR. One wonders why you always pick on the minnows when there are far bigger fish to fry?

How can anybody take you seriously as an independent observer of the world when you ignore the devastation that incompetent Labour politicians brought on all of us and our children?

Yes ECR and how dare you have left Maggie Thatcher's legacy unaddressed all these years.

There you are Thanet Privy Counsellor to High Court causes mentioning company frauds and not once have you mentioned the destruction of 48% of the manufacturing industry in London and South East under Mags (More job losses than coal and steel ... the area hit hardest by Mags was actually London and South East)

Not once have you highlighted the efforts of the Institute of Electrical Engineers who published in 84 research showing the industry was best by unqualified management (93% of managers unqualified by either experience or education).

The most damaging restrictive practice of all "Management right to manage".

Also making us the most vulnerable Western democracy to sabotage. Ironically it was Airey Neave who lectured TA SAS on this vital aspect of Security of the Realm. Who knows if INLA had not topped the Hairy Knave then he may have survived to put Maggie right re parasitic management.

As it was he died Maggie played into OIRA and Soviet hands and then we got her apprentice Mr Blair as OC until he saw her legacy looming and offloaded command to Gullible Gordon.

And another thing when is Sister Assumpta making a return ?

For a few sweet years Great Britain under Maggie was admired in the world.

And the world loved Tory Blair, until his own party knifed him.

Now we are a laughing stock again.

And Tory B. must be laughing his head off.

Quite sad really, the local paper of record, with a long proud history and they wont even touch big issues like this pollution thing...

Well if you were a regular reader, 12:21, you'd know that I'm not much of a one to praise the Gord either. However, there are plenty of people frying the big fish, why should I bother when there's so much hilarity to be had on our little island?

As for Maggie, most of the Torysaurs in these parts would still love her to make a come back, despite the fact that she is, and always was, as daft as a badger.

I am afraid I am one who will dance on her grave - after driving the stake in to make sure she really is dead.

You have now gone too far ECR! I have reported your offensive 7.10 pm comment to the Badger Rights Defence League.
