On Yer Bike

Zoiks! Looks like it is too late to join the British Heart Foundation's Viking Coastal Bike Ride, which covers a 32 mile circuit of the Ile de Thanet today. I wondered what all the yellow signs and oldies in hi-vis vests were in aid of.

Still, there's nought wrong with the old Dicky ticker. And Alain is the only cardi-ologist I need. He's just knitted me a smashing purple number in mohair!

I wear hi-vis clothing all the time when working and would like to advise your readers that it has no health benefits at all accept for the obvious safety.

Still the cycling is good for you.

Off topic but just wanted to record a sizeable jet landing at 23:37 by my watch. Bastard airport.

And there goes another at 00:08. Do you think they'll be paying any fines for their night flying? Who's monitoring this?

And another at 01:03. This is taking the p*ss. Are Oasis doing their training flights at night now? W*nkers.

I'll bet he's quite pleased about that, too!

A plane using an airport three times after the 11pm night flight curfew in fact. Not that there is a night flight curfew at Manston as the tw*ts at TDC haven't bothered agreeeing one with Infratil. They would not even get away with this at Heathrow where they would be fined for flying after 11pm.

I can see that you're making a big impact with your railings, plain spotty.
Perhaps you'd feel a little better if you went to the airport and shouted at the baggage handlers for a bit?

No thanks. I've got enough on my plate handling the old baggage at home, thank you.
