Did anyone ever really expect anything different when playing Germany? No doubt the disallowed goal will become the pivotal incident that robbed us of glory but did a team that failed to beat the USA and Algeria deserve any better fate. Thankfully we have a cricket team and a couple of Formula 1 drivers.
