New Euroferries Website Up And Running

No I am not a journalist and TV producer so maybe I'm not as good at picking up 'scoops' like Richard (so bollocks to Lucy and Peter), but I am pretty sure nobody has seen the new Euroferries website yet, which appears to have gone live today. Euroferries are planning to run a fast catamaran service between Ramsgate and Boulogne which was going to start, ooh let me see, some time ago really. So for all you ferry fans here is a first peek:

This next page made me laugh:

'All crossings are currently running on time'! Only if the Bonanza Express, which is the catamaran they will be using, has done a quick dash up from Tenerife where it was last spotted!

In fact there is no date on the site for the start of the service, but when I tried to book a crossing for next week it came up with this message:

So I presume that is when they will be starting.

Fantastic! My new venture can be naked walks in France to my own choice of Muzak.

And I'll take some pictures of it.

Wow - its a state of the art wave pierecing catamaran!! Ha ha!! Isn't it over 10 years old, been laid up in warmer climes after damaging its hull and had several paintovers! Is anybody stupid enough to part with their cash and make a highly expensive booking - I think not!! I've always said EF spend too much time watching 'Hustle'

Neptune, you are always thinking like I'm thinking ...... I find it very irritating that they keep saying its 'state of the art'. As for 1hour 15minutes berth to berth, laughable, afterall there is all the turning in port they have to do.

I get they impression that someone has been on a 1970's PR course !

I do not believe they have applied officially for the use of Boulogne Port yet.

If this starts, who is going to open a book on its longevity, could make it more interesting ?

anon 10:20 PM,

I doubt that saying is so old as to predate spelling and punctuation.

Do keep up.

So it berths and then you have to wait for the crane to put the ramp in place to load off-load...and wait why the delay - oh no the crane cannot lift it in place as the wind is too much!!

I do hop a full risk analysis/due diligence has taken place...no -thought not.

10:25 AM, a question ....

Are you referring to the ramp in Ramsgate, what is the problem ?

OK. Whoever the mindless idiot (and I am betting his first name begins with a 'P') who is commenting with links to other people's identities is, you can stop it now. Just because your toys have all been put back in their box and nobody links to you any more, there is no need to make an arse of yourself.

COME ON RAMSGATE GIVE IT A CHANCE !!!
A business can only be a success if it is supported by customers. How many times do I hear moaning on here about nothing happens in Ramsgate. Pretty good to get any business up and running in the current climate.

Well it looks like this might happen now and Bonanza Express may not be exactly "state of the art" but its a darn sight newer than some of the "rust buckets" plying from Dover
