Thanet Council Trashed On BBC News

Lucky I'm WFH today - I caught this story on BBC South East Toady's lunchtime news. Apparently Thanet Council has been caught sending people's recycled trash (the stuff in the blue bags) off to the landfill rather than recycling it lol!

Probably not Peter. However I prefer to wait a little longer and get my news from the BBC rather than sleazebags who take photographs of underage girls in the nud.

And I had no idea that peter did that. I always figured it was underage boys.
Is that true, peter?

Nope. I have had enough of you. Go and play with yourself Peter. I hear that is what you do most of the day anyway.

This article is in todays (09-10-09) Thanet Gazette if you want to read more.

Apparently the councils view is that the Recycling was contaminated with non-recyclable waste as so couldn't be recycled...

That's right Adem, as the video clearly shows a number of different households (in fact all of them) had the wrong idea about recycling and they all contaminated the blue bags. Hence we had to chuck 'em in with the landfill. It's quite clearly the tax payers fault and not ours, we're never wrong on rubbish.
