Yikes! Not only was it Thanet Night on Channel 4 yesterday, but today the BBC One O'Clock News was reporting live from Ramsgate's Royal Harbour. This time the story was about all the delicious cod our fisherfolk are having to dump back overboard because of EU quotas.
What with that and 57 crews parked over in Margate covering the nastiness there, our beloved council's much-vaunted Film Department must be clocking up overtime!

Nothing on Kent.tv at all, what a waste of money
£3 for every household in Kent to be precise.
Exodus showed Arlington Arcade as it really is; what a cheapo film; wouldn't spend any money on making it look more run-down!
Poor fish! What a waste.
Still at least the seagulls won't need to raid our bin bags!
That's nothing on Channel Five news they did a piece on the Dover ferries. According to them they have to throw over 75% of asylum seekers over the side for failing the EU scrounge quota.
Thankfully they do it just off the French coast otherwise our beautiful beaches would be covered with them.
Thats a bit Thanet Life isnt it?
I wondered where all the seagulls had gone!
Seems to me that the majority of people who complain about 'asylum seekers' are mostly worried about how it will affect THEIR benefits!
But I've no doubt that Quentin Penguin is a useful and productive member of society, and has every right to bemoan, er, scroungers, as it calls them.
