Justin, my publicist, advises me that Blogger has now officially jumped the shark. So where to next? MySpace? Hardly. That's so old hat that it's been grabbed by the Murdochs.

No, the clever money is apparently now on Facebook, so that's where you'll find me in future. If you can work out who I really am that is. Toodle-pip!

Don't you dare give up this Blog; its the most enjoyable in Thanet and your wit and nose for a story would be sorely missed.

You can't get rid of me that easily! Truth is it's hard work coming up with quality drivel every day without the resources available to other, Daily Mail style blogs on the island.

And besides, I have to devote more time to the day job. The Krug doesn't pay for itself, you know.

Feel free to keep in touch by email. Or you can join me on Facebook if you like, it's dead easy. In fact I'm begging you to join me as at the moment I'm Nobby No-Mates over there.

Not all of us know how to use Facebook - can you explain?

Just go to www.facebook.com/ and sign up. Fill in the one page form with your details, enter the security letters, and you're away.

You can then search for 'Richard Eastcliff' and you'll find me. Give me a poke when you get there!

Why can't I just Knock you up instead

Eastcliff Richard said...

Hmm. Yes, it's very American. Giving someone a poke has quite a different connotation here in Blighty.

Have you sent me an invite to be friends?

Facebook just isn't the same - we can't look up old stories or anything - please stay on here too

You cannot improve on blogger in my opinion but as I mentioned recently this blogging game can overtake your life.

Im currently resisting the urge at the moment but know that I will be making a contribution shortly.

From what I can make out Facebook users are even more egotistical
than the likes of you and I as well as being all me me me.

Facebook's not just all about me. It's about me, and how many more friends I've got than you!

Yikes!! I'm surprised anyone's got any friends the way you lot carry on around here - smells a bit fishy to me, as it does now when you walk down King Street!
