East Of The Wantsum

Yet again I'm late putting up this week's East of the Wantsum (click on the image to enlarge). But then I have an excuse. The promotional epic I'm currently working on - Smell the Profit for the Polish Cheese Board - is not going well. Despite pulling an all-nighter in the edit suite, it still sounds like their president is admonishing the viewers to treat their gussets by handing round the cheesy Polish nipples.

I have a horrible feeling that, no matter how much I polish this Polish turd, the stench is going to haunt me for the rest of my life.

I think East of the Wantsum ( or should that be Want some?)is very good and always topical.

Oh dear! Did we have a tantrum?

Richard Eastcliff said...

Yes, we did have a tantrum Lucy.

Unlike Dr/Cllr Biggles, this blog does not masquerade as a public service being run by a public figure. Unlike the BBC, it is not publicly funded, nor, like Bignews Margate, is it funded by advertising. It is run purely for my own enjoyment. If people happen to like it, well and good. If people don't, they can jolly well shut their cakeholes. They have no stake in me, this blog, or anything else I do.

Perhaps it is a measure of its success that people feel as if they do have some sort of say, but I'm here to remind them that they don't.

Bottom line is, as a sensitive, creative type whose intellect and wit is streets ahead of anything anybody else is churning out (present company excepted), they can bloomin' well be nice to me or I'll pack up my toys and go and play somewhere else!

Quite right ECR.

Probably bad eggs or carpets (or is that crappets) at TDC?

Fair point. You have been attracting some unsavoury commentators of late and I welcome their expulsion from the party.

Hear hear. See the blighters off.

Actually is there a way you can remove their posts completely so there is no trace of them ever being here? That would be very frustrating for them and satisfying for you.

Richard Eastcliff said...

Yes, I could remove all trace, but I prefer them to have to stare forlornly at the rubble and ruins of their efforts, 4:39!

And while I'm opening up a can of whoop-arse, lord knows how many times that anonymous knuckle-dragger has said 'Bye ECR' over the years.

But I'm still here haha. And he ain't nowhere!

You tell 'em, sir.

At the end of the day it's your blog. Remove what you like!
