Blog Up

Smoking source code! Look what happened when I tried to add the newly-revamped Thanet Blog List's badge to my humble jottings! Talk about alphabetti spaghetti! Not only that, but the badge wouldn't link to the list anyway, as there's a typo in the http reference. Unless there's such as thing as the Thaet Blog List, that is.

I approve of the new look, though, and am especially glad to see that the header now features a marvellous shot of the Ile's premier resort. Keep up the good work!

whoops... Anyway we've put the new site on hold as we're looking into even BIGGER possibilities.

I'll look into the code thing, but we're gonna wait on the site....

Don't watch this space!

What I have always wondered, the thanet blog list advertisise itself as independant. WHAT OF EXACTLY? Since ownership of this site is anon, who knows where this vigilante of Thanet blogs is comming from.

I THINK WE SHOULD BE TOLD?

Someone had to pull him/her/them up a bit recently as they he/she/they was/were making judgements about who should be on the list, which is not part of his/her/their own advertised remit.

That said, he/she/they is/are very well meaning and fair-minded as far as I can make out from my dealings with him/her/them and he/she/they does/do a lot of unpaid work that benefits us all, so I think you should be grateful and stop wining. I mean whining.

Also I have a bit of a soft spot for the TBL, as it all began when Dr Who? vaporised me from his blogroll, back in May. Ah, those were the days.

I'm tending to agree with Tony. The main reason I made it anon was because I still wanted to moan about others on my own blog and not worry about it.

I've been talking with the current person who's running it (not hard to figure out who it is) about where to go next, which is why its now on hold. I also have a soft spot for TBL so I have trouble letting go. Hopefully the new BIGGER possibilities will mean it doesn't matter a jot who runs the code. Hopefully be able to give you all some broken coding to look at soon.

What I will say is that it is still gonna be a Thanet thing. Local is important.

Hello, hello. What's going on? What's all this shouting? We'll have no trouble here.
