Its just not your day. New service to Jersey starts next summer from Kent Airpot! Oh itd only for 2 months and from Lydd.
Manston still has flights to Jersey but with a different airline.
Yes, but the decision to extend Lydd's runway is finally due in January. It's been a long wait but Shepway Council has been given all of the information needed and can't delay any longer. Lydd is on the up. Manston is doing nothing and has no firm plans. In my opinion, Infratil are looking to sell. They'd be mad to hang on to such a lemon.

Did you phone Kent Health Watch about your cold? I am sure they would have welcomed a call just to keep them on their toes. Maybe like a lot of Kent residents you did not know of this service? It was in the papers this week that this service has been going for just over a year and 500 people have called it for health/social services advice. Well it does not actually give advice but points you to the other service like NHS Direct that do.Its manned 24/7, 365 days a year. Just imagine being the highly trained operator that gets the one call per day? Only KCC could think up a service like this. And by the way those calls have costs more than £600 each! But for the second year KCC have got the costs down to £250,000. Just think, thismoney could be used to help keep Kent TV going!
