In Memoriam
Michael Jackson
Black (and white) minstrel
So farewell
Then, Michael Jackson.
You were a fan
Of plastic surgery
Chimps and
Small children.
They called you
'Wacko Jacko'.
And you were
Famous for
Doing the moonwalk.
But not in a
Neil Armstrong
Kind of way.
Still, death comes
To us all.
And not even you
Could beat it.

Whats the ticket returns policy?
Well he'd be just right for a re-run of the Thriller video by then, so who knows, the gigs might still be on!
I am wondering how many of his records will now be sold purely due to his death and how many songs will get into the charts again, I hear Tu Pac is still quite successful despite being dead for a million years, apparently if you're (once) black and have a criminal record not even the grim reaper can stop you from assaulting the ears of generations to come...
nothing to do with Michael J but i see Plain Jane is advocating "cull a councillor" so the rubbish situation is brought under control
can i boldly suggest that the most expensive to the taxpayer are dealt with first - our leader and deputy followed by members of the cabinet who voted to spend money on the Big event!
Great pome.
Followed by the KCC councillors who voted to give their expense accounts an 8% rise yesterday.
Maybe if Gary Glitter had paid off the parents of his acusers & could've afforded the world's best lawyers then we'd all be praising him as a misunderstood genius too...
If only Sandy Ezekiel or Paul Carter had dropped down dead instead. RIP Michael.
Pete, forgive me, I was merely referencing the similarities between MJ, Tu Pac and Biggy Smalls, and some other dead rappers whos name's have escaped me momentarily
Forgetting his dubious personel life, can someone explain to me what Michael Jackson's great talents were? To my eyes (& ears) he copied almost all his dance moves from James Brown (& the moon walk from Ronnie Hawkins), had a voice like squeaky mouse, couldn't play any musical instruments (not onstage at least), and owed much of the success of his songwriting to Quincy Jones' brilliant arrangements (& the multi-million pound videos)...
Like Madonna & others though, he had a real talent for manipulating the media.
if your feeling down about the passing of poor mrs jackson..just think about all those wealthy bankers who shelled out a small fortune on blackmarket tickets ready to groove the night away in their jeremy clarkson style disco ware..it certainly stopped me blubbing for the damaged cretin...SHAMON MOTHERF***ER
Oh how I agree with anonymous 7.57. Michael Jackson mania was man-made by the press. He wasn't over brilliant at vocals, the moves suggestive of other dancers. As for the change in looks, he , although he didn't agree, had certainly been under the knife many times. I would suggest that now he has gone, we forget about his past and concentrate on 'his' three children who have been brought up in a alien world, and will definitely need some counselling, I do hope they are taken by their Mothers and brought up anonymously, back to a life as normal children should be.
Confirmation of what we all knew ECR. The bad taste displayed by you and your wretched syco's shows you all to be pathetic, sick, and demented.
They really shouldn't be giving you internet access at Rampton, 4:22pm. Not in your, er, delicate state anyhow.
