Oh dear; no mention of the 20% reduction on house prices, when TDC gets the open sky flying policy that it [TDC] wants then!!

Lucy Mail said...

Perhaps someone should create their own blog and mention it, then.
Or would that be too much like hard work?

Good one, Cliffy! Though you should consider asking the paper for a full page, so you can fit everyone's ideas in.

Saw you with your helmet in your hand wandering round

Oh Lucy, you can be so cruel at times.

9:33

Lucy Mail said...

Or maybe you have an extraordinarily low cruelty threshold, 9:33?

If I ever decide to be really kind to you, you'll know all about it, sweetheart!

Don, you're a nob.

Don Wood said...

Lucy yep I sure am but I wasnt the one wandering round with me helmet in me hand in public

Lucy Mail said...

Are you talking about Dick's penis, Don?
Why be so cryptic about it?

Don Wood said...

Richards dick heavens no, I saw him wandering round with his crash helmet in his hand looking lost and upset cos there was no topless totty on Botany beach.Lucy dont mention it to the paper that ECR should have a section in press its bad enough him being in cyberspace let alone in the local paper as well!!! Sorry Dick but Thanet already gets to much of you.

Talking of throbbers, here is a story. I used to ride motorbikes up to the end of the 1990s so know about people pulling out on them. I pulled out the end of my road at 6:40 am one morning about 4 weeks a go. I was driving a car. Its a bit of a blind turn as a garden wall partly obscures the view and one has to pull out very slowly as traffic flies past the end of the road usually in excess of a reasonable speed. I pulled out with nothing coming get 150 metres along the road and this motorbike is right on my tail, the rider revving the nuts out the engine making a right din early in the morning, all the aggression of an idiot. I slowed down rolled down the window and he gave me loads of verbal about pulling out and making him brake. Yeah now if he'd been travelling at less than 30 mph in the 30 zone and not the 60 he accelerated to which he was probably doing before he doubtless had to brake as I was speeding up to 30 this moron may not have had to complain. Fact is in the time I checked twice to my right, pulled out at 5 mph and accelarated to 30 he's come round the corner and within that 150 metres got right on my arse and got abusive because he's had to cut his speed to fall within the 30 zone. I used to hang around with bikers now I think they're just twats.

But people who rationalise, using retrospective mathematics, are not twats, of course.

They have the benefit of hindsight!

Hindsight

To take a rear view.

Gyroscopic Precession

A force to be overcome to knock a thribber off his throbber

I cut my finger on a bean tin, once.
Now I think anything that comes in a tin is rubbish, much to the annoyance of my cat.

How far did this biker get up your arse, 10:13, before you asked him to stop?
Could be important if it ever goes to court.

So where's the online airport consultation document then?

Anonymous said...

The consultation is supposed to be for 6 months from the time of application which was August. I make that February.

Anonymous said...

Is that February 2010 or 2011 when the case comes up for judicial review?

If he has disappeared did he fall foul of the blogging police and is in the slammer? Did anybody have a grudge against him? Is it anything to do with SMEG closing down? Maybe he has got a job? Maybe he is lying unwell in his clifftop mansion? Who cares....
