Porridge

How I miss my old showbiz chum - the late, great, lovely, dear Ronnie Barker! So in the light of recent events I thought it only fitting to cobble together carefully craft this tribute to what must be regarded as his seminal oeuvre. Baftas and RTS Awards all round!

Pushed down three slots on the blogger dashboard by repeated deleted posts, dirty tricks on the Thanet blogs?

Thanet Conservative group members owe a lot to Sandy

Sandy owes a lot to Roger Latchford OBE

But most of all Sandy owes a lot to Sir Roger Wind who has supported him through thick and thin and years of corruption.

A list of Sir Roger Winds villains is on Margate Architecture

Supported by Roger Gale in the 90s:

Kent Adventure Training Corps. (Went on to lose its KCC Youth affiliation status 2003)

6th Thanet Gun Range (Closed down in 95 against Thanet tory, TDC and Kent Police wishes by MOD Range Inspectorate )

Thinking of your plot for The Infamous Five. The International Bodyguards Assn was founded at Deal Barracks between 75 and 82. Along with International Law Enforcement Training Agency.

Private Eye ran a story about this and the bogus ex SAS founder who rose to the giddy height of cabinet security advisor. James Shortt.

It appears that Mr Shortt may have overlooked registering his organisations at Companies House.

All was well until a honcho of his didn't like a BNP security contract allegedly. Because the new BNP chaps were allegedly former Intelligence Officers of apartheid South Africa.

The rebellious honcho appears to have registered the organisations as Ltd companies in his own name. As such he found himself being phoned by clients he had previously no knowledge of. One such was a group calling itself "South Africa Scouts" (Inevitably SAS yawn)

They appeared to think they had booked support and firearms training .....

At this time the anti fascist magazine Searchlight was preparing its two part expose' of Ramsgate based nazi group League of St George throughporting mercenaries to South Africa.

Undoubtedly a gang of mercs was shot dead by South Africa Police. But according to Searchlight Ronnie Deuster (Of Royal Temple Yacht Club ?) survived

Searchlight published about 96 but TDC solicitor refused to circulate copies to cllrs as he declared it ultra vires. In spite of the mention/implication of Ramsgate harbour, Thanet licensed premises and the TDC Planning responsibility for Firearms Ranges in its area.

That makes me wonder why complainants, about range activity, got no support from Roger Gale. In spite of all his rhetoric about dealing firmly with firearms offences.

Surely Rog wasn't playing his part in enabling Nazi backed mercenaries to attack the Mandela regime ?

Wasn't Brian White Head of Planning and Regeneration during the crook Ezekiel's reign? Shouldn't be surprised if he gets a knock.
