Hog Out!

As there's not much news to report today, here's a picture of some bikers in Margate for my erstwhile chum UKIP Tony. Be seeing you!

I've been both a Mod and a Rocker in my time, as you can probably tell from the deep internal conflicts that manifest themselves in these jottings.

What amazes me every year, is the exemplary behaviour of the bikers, not a hint of trouble, credit to them, well done to TDCs hard working guys and gals for keeping everything moving and a great clean up throughout the day, these sre TDCs real workforce the people deserving credit and praise under extreme pressure every week to deliver.

Great fun over on Michael's patch.

Chequeredpast has stated that he's 'Poorly Educated'.

Like the Andrew Neil string-vest pic on HIGNFY, I'm sure he won't mind us reminding him of this. Once or twice....ahem!

I'm sticking well clear of that particular vipers' nest!

Although I'm glad to hear that Cheggers has finally owned up to being an idiot.

To be fair he is also hung like a donkey! I'd gladly trade in a little of my intelligence for a couple of more inches.

4:32 TDC are useless and having a cleanup at an event is hardly brilliant. Shit on the beach is cause for concern again though. Sack them and get cheaper and better or both as in other councils

I agree 5:37 although his todger must be clammy after all those bike rides in spandex pants?

TDC will never serve Thanet with equality and look after every town with the same dedication until they close the Council office in Margate and move to Westwood in a new purpise built facility, central thanet looking after thanet, that way some of there many officers may know how to find there way around and not treat TDC as margates personal council always leaving ramsgate and villages behind. As for 5.50 the people on the ground are doing what they are told and doing there best with very limited resources, its the self governing twats in TDC offices and there elected members that the real underachievement begins, Manston former airfield being a case point, CPO its dead it died years ago, no vision, no will to even try and create something special on site with Gloag. MANSTON HAD TO GO NO CPO

Checksfield seems to have gone off the rails. He's on Michael Child's blog making childish remarks in response to almost every posting. He's abusing other posters, challenging them to races and contradicting himself left right and centre. I think the failure of Manston has sent him over the edge. He is insisting that a CPO will be issued, although the chances of this happening are remote. He clearly can't stomach the fact that he was wrong and he's desperately looking for someone to take it out on.

Perhaps the most weird thing is his slavish devotion to Roger Gale. He's saying he might vote UKIP but only when Windy passes on.

Cheggers is a unique Thanet character. Long me he provide the Porno Plumpers and his cycling tales. Gale has stolen his OBE.

This cant be right can it? Bignews Tone voting for UKIP? The party that wants to scrap HS2 and build more grammar schools.

I think you resolved your Mod and Rocker internal conflict.

You are now a hybrid a Mocker.

There has been a game of racing the Michael moderation protection of the Chegs.

Chegs will feel better once he sees the documentary about the PCC. It seems Ann Barnes is now likened to David Brent for her inept showing.

She blames mischievous editing but then again her local critic blames his woes on ticking like on a Facebook page. A case of the two wrongs can't make a sleight.

Chegger loyalty to Gale goes back to Gale getting him a job at Winter Gardens. Of course excluding other people from proper consideration for the post. The same happened with a site safety engineer job at Sericol which went to a local tory mate of Gale.

When the subsequent massive contamination of aquifer by Sericol came to light Cheggers was a long while thinking cyclohexanone must be a form of cyclocross.

Let's hope the promise of new stabilisers for his bike from kind Uncle Roger doesn't persuade Young Cheggers to be some sort of pollution sampling system cycling round and round Thor and Manston and MOD until he collapses coughing and wheezing...

Anonymous said...

I seem to recall him saying that Gale helped his uncle when he became a widower back in the late 90s?

Anonymous said...

Actually he was already employed at The Winter Gardens when Roger helped him, as he was in danger of losing his job thanks to a benefits system that pays more to the unemployed than part time workers.

Gale has gone all quiet, is it because he knows he has and is pushing this too far with manston and some of what he has said and frases used is liable and Gloag could sue, or is it merely he has got peoples hopes up which he claimed he did not want to do, failed and after a flurry of publicity which didn't help the tories in recent elections, and now he is pulling strings behind the scenes and appears to be looking to duck out?
MANSTON HAD TO GO NO CPO

Does anyone trust Gale, he's a Tory after all as are many UKIP.

Where does TDC rate in District Councils? in 30 years what has happened to Thanet? Cliftonvilles deterioration, Margate has become a place to avoid by many, projects in Ramsgate have stagnated for 8 years, until recently when we have some movement, dubious Cllr activities. do you have confidence in the officers, or the Cllrs, or Both, or None? is Thanet blighted by Gale and Sandy's? are come of its Cllrs long overdue retirement? are the officers fit for purpose? Look at all the projects which has cost TDC and Tax Payers living here over the years, Not confidence inspiring is it, however let us not paint them all with the same brush, there are good ones too, just over shadowed by many not so good.

8.48pm

So that's why 'I'm poorly educated' Chequeredpast has so much time on his hands to bore everyone senseless with his sycophantic attention-seeking. He only works 15 hours a week. What is he, Romanian or sumfink???

Eastcliff old boy, Can i recommend to you the excellent 'Timeshift' documentary on BBC4 broadcast last night about the birth of the Mods and Rockers. In the opening five minutes the voiceover informed us there were Mods, there were Rockers and there are inbetweeners. So there you go, your a inbetweener.

ECR,

You originated a post that could have become an interesting and cheerful subject for debate. Instead it has been immediately transformed into the usual appalling haven for the the foaming, ranting banshees of cyberspace. Encouraged as ever by you.

Pip, pip old bean.

Garden City at Manston - The suggestion of a multi use garden city is a great one which has much support, it is no longer an airport, it is closed and the tools and equipment is going, it was a great RAF base, it never worked as a private enterprise, Gale has got peoples hopes up falsely, and he has nowhere to go now. there have never been the volume of jobs in Thanet required to employ its 140.000 population, which is why a huge percentage which do not work locally travel to other towns and cities every day. this is an opportunity to show vision and change Thanets future for the better by creating employment in the building of the site, which will create many hundreds of jobs for years, and many there after, the people moving into homes there will have to have jobs wherever they migrate from to afford the purchase, I am afraid Gale and the rabble have no vision and are allowing emotion to cloud there thinking, this is a multiple time failed business under every previous owner and operator. MANSTON HAD TO GO, NO CPO.

Aha! So that's what I am, 9.10am! And I agree, 9.14am, the wheels have rather come off here. I've held a few of Rick's comments back (sorry Rick!) for the sake of keeping the thing upright, but evidently I've high sided and gone into the kitty litter.

Let's stick to Margate and motorcycles, with the odd bit of whatever thrown in, shall we?

Chequers left the Winter Gardens 3 years ago and is now a self-employed full-time photographer. Do keep up.
