Before They Were Famous

Hurrah! It's part deux of my brand new feature here on Fannit's favourite, fun-filled factsheet!!

All you have to do is guess the identity of this now-famous Fannit face to win a fantastic firkin of fizz!!!!!!*

Here's a clue - our goofy youth seems to be celebrating his tenth birthday in this pic, but he's now a high flyer. With Constable's Hay Wain in the background, you can tell he's a conservative kind of guy!! (Geddit???!!!!?!????!!!!!!)

Good luck!!!

(He looks exactly the same today, so this isn't much of a competition, is it? - Ed.)

*Prize will consist of one half bottle of Shampagne, courtesy of the Ramsgate Aldi. Terms and conditions apply. One winner only. No cash alternative. Competition and prize may be withdrawn by Richard Eastcliff Enterprises Ltd at any time and without notice. Closing date for entries: 1 January 3014.

Strewth, Richard, its our famous flying doctor which should be a heaven sent opportunity for you know who to introduce Manston without going off thread.

Perhaps we could have a post on the mating habits of the Outer Mongolian hairy spider to try to fool him. Doubt it would work though.

It's obviously John Worrow!

William is getting almost as obsessed with Tim as Holyer is!

Happy days! 21st birthday. Where did all that energy go!?

Don't be daft, 12:32, his skin is not all smooth and sweaty like him. He also has not got a homophobe finders badge.

Peter, did I mention Tim but you obviously knew who I meant by the reference to Manston. Just look at the last post on this blog for the string of rubbish eminating from that source. Trouble is that, not only does he go totally off thread, but he seems to wind up others to respond in kind.

Tell you what, why don't we both agree to ignore and never mention him again.

Got any pictures of ECR before he was famous?

12:54.
i suspect all that energy went into puffing up your ego & all the self publicizing.

If you must talk about Manston.

6:58 so Manston is not even worth a quid to Infratil? Luckily they can still pay the fines as they seem to be for Prestwick.

Are you sure its not Marlon from Emmerdale?

Isn't the photo you've used from a cheap porn film?

Do you really think that Simon Moores is now "famous" and worthy of before and after images? Well I guess his relentless bragging and self-promotion has borne fruit to a degree, in that he is a well-known name in Thanet, and perhaps in IT security circles beyond, but "famous"?

Compared with his fellow Pacific North Western Alumni, I suppose he has done passably well, though some of them have more Google traces - albeit perhaps for the wrong reasons!

I see that over on his teeny tiny blog he is again lamenting the "tribal" state of politics locally, without acknowledging his own significant part in keeping it that way. Having attempted, over several months, to smear John Worrow, he has now added Will Scobie to his gun-sight.

He is right that the likes of Ian Driver can be unduly vocal, but his own insidious background activity is far more of a threat to political equilibrium. Politics in Thanet wil remain in the gutter as long as dirty tactics continue.

I sometimes wonder if his bitterness and constant muck-throwing derives from jealousy or a frustration that either New Labour chose not to "keep him on", or his local hero, Roger Gale, hasn't opted to stand down or die in order to give Moores a crack at Parliament.

What insidious background would that be, nameless one at 4:59, or do you just like to smear people by insinuation. Simon Moores operates a successful flying business as well as traveling abroad regularly to give lectures. Why ever would he want to give that up to be an MP.

Do not judge others by your own shabby standards. We don't all think it is time for change!

The peak of Simon Moores career was being in charge of rubbish at TDC!

Well said 4:59 and 8:58 we can do without Mr Moores and his rather unpleasant politics of slime and fraud. Thankfully his political career such as it is, is over.

Unless your name really is "William Epps", 7.38 pm - your profile registers nothing - then you are just as nameless as any anonymous commentator.

I didn't say that Simon Moores is insidious. I referred to his insidious background ACTIVITY. I mean, specifically, his constatnt drip-feeding of rumour and suggestions that effectively smear his targets. His targets have been, most notably, John Worrow and, more recently, Will Scobie. When pressed to explain what he means, or on what facts he is basing his smears, he invariably clams up or side-steps the challenge. It is the politics of the gutter.

I am not sure how long you have been visiting local blogs, but if you dig back through the main ones, you will see a mass of exchanges on this over the past two years. The challenges to Moores, the evidence to support them, and his evasiveness, are crystal clear.

And by the way, many people give up - or put on hold - lucrative careers to enter politics.

Moores handled the blatant 0% fraud of public money and simply remains silent now and collects his councillor allowance. Why hasn't he resigned and repaid the 0% fraud or call in the Police for Samuel and White and Mcgonigal to explain?
