Happy St Patrick's Day!

And, er, please note that that is the way we draw a lucky four leaf clover here in Ramsgate.

Your clover leaf looks like your proposed Thanet flag Dickie' s duck would be a good name me thinks.

Plan view of a pouncing frog in a neck brace.

Well spotted Mr Ross! Although I was there under the pretext of checking out King Street's potential as a gay village, of course.

Did you reject Queen Street ?

Hehe!

It should be St Guinness Day! More drunken ramblings next Wednesday at the Mayor meeting (they do shove them all through at the end of the year don't they?). Although worryingly The Duffers may be sober.

Vote of no confidence?

They must have been on something stronger than Guiness to audit/sign off the accounts: 0% fraud and Pleasurama and EKO even suing itself? Macgonigal must have been on buckets of whisky. Clive will speak up soon no doubt: an LGA whitewash doesn't really explain it all away.

Why should Clive care about Ramsgate or Manston? He lives in Margate and none of it's his money.

Just an elderly electrician waffling on the rates. The Mayor in Ramsgate is just another of his appointments because they have the same rosette.

The sooner the Duffer Era ends and there's a Margate Town council then things might improve.

Clive's not corrupt in the sense of taking bungs but is certainly covering up the problems. Aiding and abetting?

He could easily call in the Police, suspend McGonigla andMoores etc and have a root and branch investigation.

He's done nothing even denying the Scrutiny report on corruption at TDC.

We're all working harder to pay tax to have it stolen and wasted. He's not upto the job of
preventing it. Bayford's equally happy to keep quiet. And McGonifgal must be delighted: every month is an extra £5k salary and pension.

BBC new reporting at 11.30 meeting taking place with staff at Manston regarding a 45 day consultation period. The end.

Anonymous said...

What's this Manston consultation taking place at the moment about then?

Anonymous said...

Sounds like The End for Manston. The DEFRA noise consultation was announced last week and probably the last nail in the coffin.

The comments make clear how badly run if not downright illegal Manston has been.

Let's hope the Police consult with Buchanan under caution for polluting us.

Manston closed means less cancer. Good riddance.

You'll really have something to moan about when they replace the airport with a huge housing estate full of London dole-scum.

Anonymous said...

Dole-scum would be better than airport-scum, although you sound worse.

And you've forgotten the aquifer so construction is unlikely - although given TDC perhaps the worst option and therefore feasible.

Let's hope Infratil and Gloag and TDC arrests happen soon too.

Let's hope there's a vote of no confidence in Ramsgate Town Council too next Wednesday. They're all doublehatters so effectively TDC. Good riddance to The Duffers too.
