The last line was the best! Why are we still waiting? I thought planning permission was supposed to run out if you don't start building within a certain time period so why isn't the building work starting yet?
Michael Child is the person to ask. As I understand it, because the work was done to rejig the road, that counted as starting the build within the initial five year planning permission period.
So they can eke it out a few more years yet. And it means that despite the fact that the Environment Agency have upgraded their flood risk on the site in the intervening eons, they haven't had to re-apply taking that into account. What utter nonsense!
