Has anyone else noticed the striking similarity between the famous Cambridge theoretical physicist, cosmologist and author Stephen Hawking and that thatched cottage on the outskirts of Wingham? Are they by any chance related?

The RTC Duffers have slipped out the Annual Town Meeting (or one of them?) for 26th March 7pm for questions for the Mayor and Town Council.
Presumably like who are you, what have you done in the last year, how much does TDC and RTC cost, why have the Duffers not resigned etc.
What's happening with Pleasurama now it's cancelled? And who is the mysterious Town Team that only pops up just before the town meetings/elections?
Ramsgate as a town provides c.£20M in tax to TDC and KCC no doubt to spend on Margate and Maidstone and pensions?
Answers there will be none.
A bit off topic but Margate and Broadstairs looked great at the weekend while Ramsgate looks a sh1thole. When will TDC and KCC realise Ramsgate deserves an equal share and spend the kind of money on Ramsgate that they've spent in Margate? And I don't just mean wasting millions on crappy ferry companies, pointless port schemes and road improvements for freight traffic that doesn't exist.

Given Professor Hawkin's excellent sense of humour, I feel it unlikely he'd be offended.
I just wonder why people feel the need to try and be morally outraged. Shouldn't these people be busy writing letters to the Daily Mail?
