In response to a request from fellow Thanet blogger Bertie Biggles, I've popped one of my seven day polls in the sidebar on the right. It's based on the premise that the current Tory leader of Thanet Council, Sandy 'Two Hats' Ezekiel, could be chucking in both of them this year, thus precipitating a leadership election and/or selection.
Personally, not being the least bit inclined towards the Blue Rinsers, I'd prefer to see them all cast off into the North Sea. Hence I've made my own suggestion, which would be a much more honest choice if you ask me, given that we could all be pretty sure whose hand was up his fundament, working him from below.

Sandy is doing a great job but simon moores should do the job now because he is a Doctor and can fly a plane. He is also a very kind man!
yes we know Sandy is doing a good job, but we need to demonise him for our own political reasons - so go along with Paul Wells' (Berite Bigot) propaganda and pretend otherwise!

That's not very eco-friendly ECR, there is enough marine pollution as it is.
It says a lot for the state of Thanet politics that Orville is way ahead in the poll. Obviously time for a change at the top!
Clearly the one who gets the least votes is the winner i.e. the one least likely to be a push over for bully bertie and the liebour losers

He is one of the few here who might also be able to "reach across the aisle" as some of the Labour camp are known to think he is a good, capable chap... I've heard them say it!
