However, this is the way in modern Britain. It starts in the homes with parents who don't have any regard or respect for their neighbours, the law and anyone else in a position of authority. This attitude is transmitted to their kids who go off to practice in school before unleashing their obnoxious selves on the rest of society. Lack of respect is a disease that is killing Britain.
The problem is that gobshites get their own way and they know it. Anyone who sits and waits their turn gets what's left, if anything. It's crucial that those in positions of trust and responsibility stand up to these horrible people and don't let them queue-jump over quieter and more polite people.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20691138.post-11397663108228329162008-06-30T20:15:00.000+01:002008-06-30T20:15:00.000+01:00I have only reported what I saw as I said I am gen...I have only reported what I saw as I said I am generally a supporter of the NHS but have been quite shocked over the past few weeks. I have politely taken these issues up with staff at the time and I must say they have immediately addressed them but not without a certain amount of 'rolling of the eyes' as if I was making a fuss about nothing.

JulieAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20691138.post-51483907945850448122008-06-30T01:08:00.000+01:002008-06-30T01:08:00.000+01:006:17 reasonable remarks as long as when someone ha...6:17 reasonable remarks as long as when someone has cause to complain they avoid arrogancy and rudeness in doing so. Vast sums are spent on the NHS and we (the tax-paying public) have a right to expect it to be run efficiently and effectively. Far too often, I read letters from people praising nursing staff who are just doing the job they are paid to do. People should expect high standards and should complain when they don't get them.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20691138.post-34094263373662655422008-06-29T14:16:00.000+01:002008-06-29T14:16:00.000+01:00again no complaints on recent stay in Rainbow ward...again no complaints on recent stay in Rainbow ward - all seemed very clean, although no-one cleaned at the weekend. I can't think of any real issues apart from steamed dryish food which I couldn't eat for 10 days anyway! The nursing staff cleared up after me on several occasions I barfed across the ward floor, and changed my bed sheets when my bowels took on a life of their own.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
