I would have thought one or part of one of them allowing nudism would be beneficial to the towns economy, from a purely business point of view I suspect nudists buy books like everyone else.

Perhaps when the weather warms up we could get TDC to allow some sort of 220th anniversary celebration.

Peter in my opinion they deserve a section of the beach protected by lifeguards like everyone else and if a nudist drowns in the very difficult cross currents in Pegwell Bay there may well be grounds for their family suing TDC for corporate manslaughter.Michael Childhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09499435016469020417noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20691138.post-15799291170199755602008-04-18T13:28:00.000+01:002008-04-18T13:28:00.000+01:00It doesn't get more Victorian than round here mate...It doesn't get more Victorian than round here mate.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20691138.post-4995568583920485202008-04-18T12:53:00.000+01:002008-04-18T12:53:00.000+01:00Because most people are still very Victorian about...Because most people are still very Victorian about their bodies.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20691138.post-8245555428607017192008-04-18T12:09:00.000+01:002008-04-18T12:09:00.000+01:00No really, what's the problem with children seeing...No really, what's the problem with children seeing a naked person on the beach?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20691138.post-80374812419153609662008-04-18T12:08:00.001+01:002008-04-18T12:08:00.001+01:00What's the problem with children seeing a naked pe...What's the problem with children seeing a naked person on the beach?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20691138.post-58005192123524203632008-04-18T12:08:00.000+01:002008-04-18T12:08:00.000+01:00What's the problem with children seeing a naked pe...What's the problem with children seeing a naked person on the beach?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20691138.post-1063495166974554802008-04-18T11:48:00.000+01:002008-04-18T11:48:00.000+01:00So don't Naturists deserve good facilities too?So don't Naturists deserve good facilities too?Peter Chttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06283534498743254609noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20691138.post-75253599323991619852008-04-18T09:36:00.000+01:002008-04-18T09:36:00.000+01:00It's fine with me but I do think it should be out ...It's fine with me but I do think it should be out of the way. Pegwell Bay has the following advantages over Botany:

* It's south facing, so usually sheltered from the cold easterly winds.

* It has nearby snack & toilet facilities.

* It can still be easily accessed at high tide (including by disabled people, something that's impossible at Botany Bay).

* Buses stop nearby.

The biggest disadvantage is that there's not actually much of a beach there, & the tide goes out a long way.

I cycled over to Pegwell Bay a few days back to check it out, & unless people get express permission I don't think many would brave stripping off alone with all the dog walkers & bait diggers around! So I suspect that in the meantime people will carry on using Botany Bay.Peter Chttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06283534498743254609noreply@blogger.com
